WHILE YOU WERE GONE... but now you're back

WITH JAYSON HOME FROM IRAQ AND THE LAST YEAR BEHIND US, I COULD EASILY STOP WRITING. BUT THEN HOW WOULD I TELL YOU THAT MY HUSBAND CAN'T GO TO THE BATHROOM WITH A SHIRT ON AND THAT I USED OUR KITCHEN SCISSORS TO TRIM THE GRASS THIS SUMMER? So, for YOUR sake, I will keep writing. (You're welcome.) I SHOULD WARN YOU: OUR LIFE ISN'T ALWAYS "CLEAN". SO, BE PREPARED FOR PLENTY OF FOUL LANGUAGE, DISGUSTING HUMOR, AND WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION.

2009 Military Ball

Our Story (the condensed version)...

My photo
Emily A. Geisler
Rigby, ID / Baghdad, Iraq
Jayson & I met in 1997 at Fort Bragg, N.C. Within a few months, we were married (at the police station...w/ RingPops). Jaycob magically appeared in January of 1999 & Sydni made her grand entrance a year later. Two kids, close in age, older boy/younger girl. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! From N.C., we moved to New Mexico & spent only a year there before heading to Eastern Idaho. We've been here in the land of Snow & Wind for over 9 years now & LOVE IT! I've been with Alliance Title & Escrow Corp. the entire time, and Jayson is still in the Army. (Although he did spend the first 4 years here w/ the Madison County Sheriff's Office.) Unlike our Fort Bragg days, Jayson is no longer "traditional" Active Duty. Instead, he is Active Guard & stationed out of the Rexburg Armory. He is the Training NCO for B-BTRY 1-148FA, and just recently returned from Iraq where he spent a year deployed as Chief for their current mission - QRF (Quick Response Force) in Baghdad.
